I've lived here, I've worked here. I can see what is going well and where we have an opportunity to do better.

I graduated from Hibbing Community College and Hibbing Technical College in 1991 with an associate degree in applied science in law enforcement.  I started my law enforcement career as a part-time police officer from 1993 to 1994 for the Keewatin Police Department.  From there, I moved to a full-time position at the Hibbing Police Department and enjoyed working there from 1994 until 2002.  In 2002, I moved to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office working patrol until 2015.  In 2015, I started serving the court services/civil/warrants division, which is where I am today.

I was a field training officer during my time at the Hibbing Police Department as well as at the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.  I am also a negotiator for the St. Louis County Emergency Response Team and the ICOR robot coordinator.  I am a proud member of the Minnesota Peace Officers Association.
