I believe in us.
I've lived in many places, but Itasca County is my home.
I was born in Appleton, Minnesota and graduated from Appleton High School in 1987. I attended Oak Hills in Bemidji, Minnesota before leaving the state for a couple years to experience different parts of our country. I was drawn back to Minnesota, and when I returned, I moved to Hibbing to attend Hibbing Community College for my law enforcement degree. I lived in Hibbing from May 1989, before marrying Rachel and moving to Grand Rapids in October 2010. We moved to our current home in Cohasset in November 2012. We have two daughters, Gabrielle, age 5 and Madelyn, age 3.
I enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golf, softball, and motorcycling and spending time with my family. I have attended Grand Rapids Alliance Church and New Song since 2011. I enjoy being able to help with AWANA’s on Wednesday nights.
I want my family to feel safe. I want them to feel proud of the county they live in. I've lived in rural Minnesota the majority of my life and want to do what I can to keep Itasca County a great, safe place to live.
